Annual Conference. A forum for the exchange of useful information on significant developments and trends in governmental ethics, elections, freedom of information, campaign finance and lobbying laws. Recent conferences have attracted over 400 participants!
This year, COGEL returns to Washington, D.C. for its 32nd Annual Conference, December 5-8, 2010, at the Washington Fairmont. Each year, the COGEL Annual Conference provides leaders in the fields of government ethics, campaign finance, elections, lobbying regulation, and freedom of information with vital knowledge about emerging trends and developments in these critical areas.
The COGEL Annual Conference is a unique and essential place for learning first-hand about agencies’ challenges and successes, and for gaining crucial insights and new tools to help your agency succeed. As a key opportunity to network and learn from colleagues at the federal, state, provincial and local levels, the Annual Conference can help your agency benchmark, innovate, and achieve.
Cited by attendees as an invaluable opportunity for professionals working in the areas of public disclosure, training and outreach, policy and legislative development, and compliance and enforcement, the COGEL Annual Conference informs, educates and inspires. With major developments occurring this year in COGEL’s areas of interest, this year’s conference in Washington is one not to miss.
Some 40 sessions will be offered – from roundtable discussions and topical plenary speakers, to timely legislative updates and focused breakout sessions. Your COGEL colleagues and our 2010 host committee, the Federal Election Commission, look forward to welcoming you, so register now!
